Brent grew up on a farm north of Edmonton near Redwater, AB. After high school he attended the University of Alberta graduating with an Engineering degree in 2006 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2010. After a few years of practice, Brent joined Aspen Trails Dental in August 2012 and moved to Sherwood Park to raise his family. Brent strives to keep his skills advanced and is always bringing new technology to Aspen Trails Dental.
Russell is a graduate of the University of Alberta with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He grew up in Southern Alberta and moved to Edmonton, AB, for school where he fell in love with the city and his beautiful wife. In his spare time, he enjoys music, reading, podcasts, and spending time with his wife and three kids. He loves all sports and will even tolerate long-distance running if his waistline is feeling a little "lumpy".
Courtney graduated from the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and brought the “east coast” to her new home in Alberta. She is fluent in French, thanks to her upbringing in northern New Brunswick. Courtney strives to provide a caring and comfortable experience for all of her patients. When she’s not staring into mouths and saving teeth, she can be found skiing, hiking, hanging out with her friends, and keeping up with her fitness.
Sandra has lived almost her whole life in Edmonton, AB. She is married and has two kids. She graduated from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology as a Registered Dental Assistant II (RDA II) and the University of Alberta with a BSc in Science. Sandra has worked in the dental field since 2006. Sandra is the office manager at Aspen Trails Dental. She loves to travel, hike, read and loves fitness.
Rachel is a dental hygienist who grew up in Sherwood Park, AB, and graduated from the University of Alberta BSc program. She was previously a dental assistant and specialized in orthodontics. Rachel has worked at Aspen Trails Dental since opening in 2010. She and her family love travelling and anything athletic.
Julie is a dental hygienist at Aspen Trails Dental. A skilled hygienist, she enjoys working among her peers at a top-quality office that puts clients first and cares about their dental health.
Lindsey grew up in Bruderheim, AB, and moved to Ottawa, ON, to complete her Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) diploma at the Canadian National Institute of Health in 2015. Her favorite part about being a dental hygienist is making a difference in the health of patients and seeing them overcome their dental fears with each passing visit. When Lindsey isn’t working, you can find her in the great outdoors fishing, hunting, or riding her bike around the city.
Dominique was born and raised in Sherwood Park, AB. She graduated with a BSc (specialization in dental hygiene) from the University of Alberta in 2010. She has two daughters and a son, and when she's not working you'll find her having fun with her family!
Kayla graduated from the University of Alberta with her BSc in dental hygiene. She started her career in 2018 at Aspen Trails Dental and has been here ever since! Kayla is also a barre instructor at a local fitness studio. In her free time, you can find her spending time with family and friends and her golden retriever, Lily.
Cassidy graduated from the Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene. She grew up in Ardrossan, AB, and started her career at Aspen Trails Dental after graduating in 2019. Cassidy now lives out on an acreage in Sturgeon county. She has a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Saint Bernard. She enjoys camping and dirt biking on her weekends and loves to clean kids' teeth.
Ashley is a dental hygienist who started with Aspen Trails Dental in October 2020. Ashley graduated from the University of Alberta with her BSc in Dental Hygiene in 2012. Although currently living in Edmonton, AB, she grew up in Sherwood Park, AB, and has loved seeing so many familiar faces around the office! In her free time, Ashley loves travelling, going to concerts, camping, hiking, and spending time with her friends, family, and pup Rufus!
Kristina has been in the dental field for almost 10 years, first as a dental assistant and now as a hygienist. She loves baking, napping, and watching cringe-worthy reality TV shows. Kristina also loves spending time with her fiancé, dog, and two cats. Kristina is known for her outgoing personality and talkative tendencies. So be prepared to share a story or two with her while you’re in the chair.
Lynne graduated from the University of Alberta and has enjoyed being a hygienist for more than 35 years. Her daughter and son are both working on their chosen career goals and she is very proud of them. Lynne enjoys reading about current events, watching documentaries, and daydreaming of tropical locations. She believes in embracing change and is always trying to learn new things.
Rachel grew up in Sherwood Park, AB, but moved to BC after high school to attend Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene. She graduated from the college in 2015. She is happy to be back “home” now living close to her family. Rachel enjoys hot yoga and walking down by the river valley with her 4 lb. Pomeranian, Bailey.
Caley has been a dental assistant since 2006. Before becoming a dental assistant, Caley received a Bachelor of Arts degree and an Education degree. Having a job where she could interact daily with people was important to her. She is originally from Coronation, AB, and now spends her time outdoors with her husband and sons.
Candice graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2004 as a Registered Dental Assistant. She loves her job and really enjoys coming to work. Candice also has a background in massage therapy. Being nerdy by nature, she loves to read and learn new things. Candice is married and has two girls and a boy. She lives on an acreage and loves doing anything outdoors and spending time with friends and family. Candice also loves to run, cook, and have fun!
Chelsea, a Canadore College graduate, has been a Dental Assistant since 2011. She grew up in Orillia, Ontario. After graduating, she packed up her small car and made her way west. When she is not working you can find her travelling the world, visiting family back home, shopping, or spending time with her boyfriend and three golden retrievers.
Kirsten recently graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology Dental Assisting Technology program. She grew up in Onoway, AB, and kept busy playing hockey for ten years. Kirsten enjoys spending time with her family, loves her Shih Tzu, Bella, and is a huge Oilers fan. Kirsten looks forward to meeting new patients and getting acquainted with the Sherwood Park community.
Katie was raised in Sherwood Park, AB. After living eight years in Edmonton, she recently moved back to Sherwood Park to raise her family. Katie first completed her Bachelor of Science in 2011 and then her Dental Assisting Diploma in 2016. Katie loves watching Big Brother, eating potatoes, and the colour pink. One day, she hopes to own a cow. Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her family and playing ringette.
Mary-Lee brings over 25 years of experience to the Aspen Trails team. Throughout her time in the dentistry field, she has had many roles from assisting to Treatment Coordinator. When she's not working, Mary-Lee loves to spend time with her family and friends, as well as play volleyball and golf. She loves to travel; her best memory is when she backpacked across Europe with her daughters. Making patients have the best experience is very important to Mary-Lee and she always goes above and beyond to make that happen. Her family makes fun of her as every day she comes home with a story about another "favourite patient."
Amanda graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology Dental Assisting Technology program in 2010. After being an assistant for four years, Amanda took some time off to take care of her three boys. She started working at Aspen Trails in 2020 as a receptionist and has loved every bit of it. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her kids, reading, and binge-watching Netflix shows. Amanda is also proud to call Sherwood Park, AB, her home.
Callie has lived in Sherwood Park, AB, most of her life and loves its family-oriented community. She is married and has a daughter and a married son (with a baby on the way!). She also has a dog who is treated like her child! When not working, Callie loves to spend time cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, and crafting.
Andrea has been a dental assistant since 2001 after graduating from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology Dental Assisting Technology program. She has three daughters and a loving husband, with whom she loves spending time. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys photography, skiing, biking, and reading.
